In 1988, the ACGA established two special awards in honor of its members’ contributions to the cattle industry. The first is the “Cattleman of the Year” awarded in recognition of an Arizona cattle producer or cattle feeder member whose contributions to the cattle industry have been exceptional. The second award, the annual “Top Wrangler of the Year,” recognizes individuals from all levels whose contributions to the cattle industry have been outstanding. Both awards are presented annually at the ACGA summer convention.
